A Surreal Sky...

"We all live under the same sky,
but we don't all have the same horizon."
Konrad Adenour

I thought this was an almost surreal horizon and sky...
maybe another Star Trek scene...

Maybe just another fabulous sky over Crowley Lake!!!

(Fishing season opens in another week...
won't see the lake again without a boat for quite awhile!!!)

  1. I see we've been posting our Skywatch photos at around the same time, on different continents!
Yours does have a Star Trek feel. I almost wrote that about mine - see if you agree. Perhaps we should both have 'Star Trek' tags for our photos - might be fun to see what we come up with!

  5. Awesome skies and what a superb view!! Terrific capture for the day. I'm sure it will look different once fishing season begins, but this looks "other worldly" right now and so peaceful. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

  6. It always seems to be cold and blustery for opening, no matter how nice the week before. I wonder if this year will be any different?

  9. Surreal, indeed! Nice capture.
I love that the lake will be full of boats in a few short days. Sounds like Minnesota too :O)

  10. This place is special.

Have you taken the road from Mono that goes through a burnt forest eventually ending up in Benton? I really enjoyed that drive.
