When Flamingos Fly...






When you only have ever seen flamingos in zoos...
it's pretty darned awesome to see one flying in it's natural habitat!!!

Who knew???
Did you know that flamingos fly???
I have to admit...I never really thought about it...
until we were in the Galapagos Islands a couple of years ago...
and this beautiful guy or gal took flight!


Just a little diversion from the norm...
thought I'd head back to the ol' archives and reminisce a bit...

    Thanks Mick!!! I agree...seeing him/her in flight made him all the more majestic to me!!! It was amazing to see how gracefully he flew!
