CDP Theme Day and Skywatch Friday!

"The sky is the daily bread of the eyes."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Living in the big city down south,
I forgot just how beautiful the sky can be on a daily basis.

  2. Hi Chieftess,
    Love pines like that one. They seem to climb up to the sky :-)
    Yes, I´m looking often up to the sky, nowadays we need rain, because spring was far to dry actually. Looking out of my window there are neerly the same clouds out there as in the picture of yours. That´s really great, sky is more white usually by us, due to smog in the air. Sky makes me happy this morning and so your reminder :-)
    Greetings from Austria again after a long time
    Elisabeth

    Welcome back Elisabeth!!! When I lived in So California the sky was brownish white regularly...up here...bright, bright blue!!! It's one of the reasons we love it up here!

  6. well you were able to pull it altogether. I guess it helps that you're away from our noble smog.

    Thanks Margaret! It's amazing the color of the sky when there's no smog!!! (sometimes a little dust or pollen...but nooo smog!!!)

  8. You certainly looked up, up, up to get this shot!

    MOST WONDERFUL

    The sky’s a most wonderful thing,
    Enjoyed by both peasant and king;
    No matter the eye
    That sees the bright sky
    The proper response is to sing!
