  1. LOL ! That reminds me of a hotel called :Hotel de la Plage" ( Beach Hotel) in a little village in the mountains in the south of France (Ardeche) ! The sea was a couple hundred of kilometres away ! ;-)

  2. Thanks for visiting Namaki!!! I know what you mean!!! ...To see the ocean from here...you have to climb those mountains and go down the other side...then cross miles and miles of land...then across a range of foothills...and then you might see the ocean!!! LOL!!!

  3. you mean, it's NOT that blue stuff off in the distance??!?!

then again, with the low oxygen levels at that location, I'm sure you can believe anything if you put it on a sign!

wv: allat...it's an ocean view, allat and MORE!

  6. I think I've forgotten what the ocean looks like...maybe this IS an ocean view and I've just mistaken it for the glorious Eastern Sierras!!!

  10. Maybe if you stand on top of the sign? And I'll just assume that valley is round.

  11. The explanation seems obvious to me. The streets were named before the last Ice age.
