Hi there - this is a classically splendid picture.
ReplyDeleteWhen I used to live in the UK I took more than my fair share of images with industrial junk in the front and hills in the background - they just make such a great contrast.
Makes me think I’ll have to dig out the slides (I’m showing my age here!) and have a look!
Cheers – Stewart M - Australia
Gorgeous in monochrome, subject and composition. (Not anything like my playful image for the theme). And I bet I'd like it a lot in color, too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot! And that quote is so funny!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You're hitting the jackpot, as usual--Kelly, new home, pictures...sounds like all is going so well.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a great picture! Have a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you Francisca! And I loved your post!!! Although I don't know that I'd want to ride it that taxi with all those cracks in the windshield!!!

Life is good Petrea!!!
Thank you Antonia!!!
Thank you Al and Bluff Area Daily!!! And welcome!!!
Thank you Oakland DP! I think it works so much better in B&W than it did in color...exactly for the range of tones!!!
