"In a decaying society, art, if it is truthful, must also reflect decay.
And unless it wants to break faith with its social function,
art must show the world as changeable.
And help to change it."
Ernst Fischer

LOL!!! Some of us sooner than others!!!
DeleteI hope someone salvages that old lumber, some of it's sure to be nice.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that Woody...this is a state historical park so the lumber may not be available to anyone once it goes down...and there are a few buildings that have tumbled...the wood simply stays there.
DeleteA lovely shot, Chieftess... another year or so and there'll be less of that still standing.
ReplyDeleteThose leaning woods may be a safety hazard, but they create a wonderful sense of dramatic art.
ReplyDeleteThis is a state historical park of a ghost town...Bodie California.
