Look what I woke up to!!!

Kelly L-O-V-E-S the snow!!!

She went right out to the corner of the deck with the most snow and 

plopped down!!!  She then began licking the snow...

I had to give her a tug or two to get her to come back inside!!!

Diego was here from Thursday til Sunday night...

Kelly's been pounced on, chewed on, rolled on...

furniture overturned, chew bones devoured,

tug of war...

water dripped all over the floor...

Right now she's flaked out in the mudroom...

sound asleep...

snoring...

and dreaming of playing with Diego again!!!

Need a maid???

Oooops!!! I missed a post!!!



I'm down in the LA area...a couple of appts today, and tomorrow,

 shopping with two of my favorite grand daughters!!! 

While spending time in between appts in Santa Monica...I went to theSanta Monica mall...

And as I was walking through the parking lot I came across the

General Lee (car) from the Dukes of Hazard!!!

Now, I never really watched the Dukes of Hazard...but who could 

mistake this one???

So when I got back to Tom and Doris'...

I looked up the car from the Dukes...

Check it out!!!

 

Progress!

We have a new addition in our household...

This is Joey...

and he's a verrrry nice cat.

He's just about 3 times bigger than our smallest kitty...Sadie...

He's in his "safe" room most of the time...and has had a few "chance" encounters

with both Sadie and Cleo.  

Sadie is a bully...she's as sweet as can be, a snuggler, a lap cat...

but every once in awhile...she pounces...and not nicely....

She's also figured out how to climb the "fence" that we put up so the cats

could all see each other but not be in the same room...

She wasn't very nice to Joey when she got in...

and Joey... the gentle-man that he is...

didn't instigate a thing.

Well...we've changed tactics now.  

With the door closed, Cleo went in the room with Joey...

she went under the bed, and he stayed by his bed and food dishes...

they both laid there and growled periodically at first...

but as the day wore on, they were pretty quiet.

I was even able to leave them alone in the room together for short times!!!
