Thank you Merike!!! Yes..definitely native American... according to my references it means something to the effect of "the people of the big mouth"!!! I'm assuming the mouth is in reference to the big valley floor!!!
A great shot, Kathryn, of the gracious inn. Just returned from a few days in the Valley, we were surprised to find water in Yosemite Falls.
