The wild blue yonder is getting ready for a wild week...
Snow is in the forecast...

But I'm not ready to give up my flip flops...

  1. Just stunning! You seem to have bigger skies than we do, and you have captured this moment beautifully! I love the silhouetted fence and the layer of mountains beyond.

  9. Thank you Karen!!! Perhaps they seem so low because we're so high!!! This was taken at about 7000ft altitude!!! The clouds generally roll in over the pass and stay pretty low!!!

    Thank you Jeannelle!!!

    Thank you Tatjana!!!

I'm afraid so Carolyn!!! We're actually expecting snow this next week!!!

  10. Definitely God's work!. Absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe snow is already in the forecast, but then I had to look at the calender to be sure it was the first of October, too! Thanks for sharing.

  12. Hello TheChieftess,
Snow in the forecast and your Autumn has just begun!!!
All the wonderful colours displayed during Autumn will hardly have had the chance to fulfil their journey, seems sad...
but, those Clouds are beautiful with their softness and fullness variety with one giving strong consideration for rain.
    Like the photo lots.

  13. Welcome Magda!!! I'm afraid all this snow is going to eliminate all our beautiful fall color!!! The fall color prepares me for the stark white of our winters!!!
