Well Hiker...that is the big question!!! I tried to research that last night when I was getting the post ready and couldn't find a thing...what has been mentioned before is that the skyline looks a bit like the back of a woolly mammoth...and then there's Mammoth Rock... honestly...I don't see the resemblance so I can't confirm it at all!!!
