Open Sesame!!!

"The angler forgets most of the fish he catches,
but he does not forget the streams and lakes in which they were caught."
Charles K. Fox

Just last week I tried to drive up to Rock Creek Lake, but the snow gate was still up.
This week, the snow gate was down and I headed up...
A few others beat me to it...

  3. Now that's a most interesting quote. From a distance, fishing seems like a lovely way to spend the day.

  7. «Louis'» grandfather would be right out there with these fishermen were he still with us! He would be in his glory!

He loved fly fishing and tied his own flies.

  10. The fishermen and women all seem to really enjoy it! When Kelly and I go to a lake now, there's bound to be someone fishing!

  11. The angle of this shot is perfect, K! I do hope that these fishermen have on their waders as any mention of snow and water in the same sentence gives me a shiver!
