  2. I know what you mean Bibi!!! Although, I prefer the wet dog smell outside rather than inside!!!

  3. So darn cute! Of course, it is followed by the obligatory shaking off of excess water!

    Thank you Birgitta!!!

    Thanks Pat!

Kelly loves to swim and wade in the water! Thanks Gunilla!!!

She was definitely a happy dog that day Adele! There'll be more shots to follow of the event we were at that day

  7. Scout would like to voice her dissent. A wet dog is a humbled and tormented dog.

  8. Scout doesn't like to swim Margaret??? Maybe it's because he hasn't swum in a real lake!!!

  9. Awww, so cute.

I've got to agree with Margaret, my one dog hates being wet and tries frantically to wipe himself dry on furniture after a bath. Good dog during the bath, tormented after! :)

  10. I can't imagine DelGal and Margaret!!! All my dogs have loved to get wet...Daisy would walk into the middle of a stream and lay down in the water! Kelly loves to wade...and yesterday we went to the lake and she played with 5 other dogs!!! Swimming and chasing after frisbees!!!

    Go figure!!!

  11. beautiful pup and can imagine how happy she is when in water! Nothing quite like a happy pup!

Some dogs are terrified of being wet or in water. We suggest to our clients that they toss their dog into water, especially if they are regularly around a body of water, so the dog learns to get out and not panic if they happen to fall in. Some THEN learn to love water. Some NEVER do.

And yes, even some "water dogs" HATE water.

We know a Frenchie who hates being wet, but will ATTACK a running hose or sprinkler if he gets a chance. It is like it is his mortal enemy---but at that point, he doesn't mind getting soaked. Just odd.

Enjoy Kelly's enjoyment of the lake---beautiful to watch but yes, wet dog smell is MUCH better outside!
