After two silly forays into LA oddities...
I thought maybe this might remind us all that LA
really does have some wonderful sights!!!
This is one of my pics from the Photo Workshop I did there
in July...

Lovely kind of art-deco facade. I am wondering how the whole building will look. Thanks for showing.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. It does look like art-deco.
ReplyDeleteI used to live in LA and still like to visit...love, love this blue.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful building and you do it real justice.
ReplyDeleteThanks s.c.!!! Definitely art-deco...the building is really beautiful, although the surroundings leave a bit to be desired...it's in the Broadway Theater District of downtown LA. (I added a link to wikipedia that has a couple of photos of the whole building)
ReplyDeleteThanks Danielle!!!
Do you remember this building Bibi???
Thank you LOL!!!
Awesome art deco capture. Wow, this is great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Spare Parts!!! It's a beautiful building!!!
ReplyDeleteDoing my usual weekend catch-up thing and loving your pictures this week. This is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteA special welcome to Joey. I look forward to getting to know him.
Thanks Petrea!!! Right now we also have Diego...5 animals in one house, one of which is a 6 month old puppy = mass chaos!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this - what a joyful piece of architecture.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of it like that Linda!!! I guess it is!!! It definitely brings a smile when I see it!!!
ReplyDelete«Louis» is always happy to see Art Deco buildings. It was such a grand style. Oakland has many Art Deco buildings. The interior of the ocean liner Normandie was done in Art Deco style.
ReplyDeleteWow! Most excellent rendition of the famous building. The beauty is in the details.
ReplyDeleteThanks < Louis > ! I agree about the Art Deco style...my very favorite style of architecture, clothing, art... and the best time period for cars too!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tash! There was no way I was going to take a photo of the whole building!!! It would lose so much of the intricacies of the design! And the sky was spectacular that day so it worked in so many ways!!!
