From the Ridiculous to the Sublime...





After two silly forays into LA oddities...
I thought maybe this might remind us all that LA
really does have some wonderful sights!!!

  5. Thanks s.c.!!! Definitely art-deco...the building is really beautiful, although the surroundings leave a bit to be desired...it's in the Broadway Theater District of downtown LA. (I added a link to wikipedia that has a couple of photos of the whole building)

  12. «Louis» is always happy to see Art Deco buildings. It was such a grand style. Oakland has many Art Deco buildings. The interior of the ocean liner Normandie was done in Art Deco style.

    Thanks Tash! There was no way I was going to take a photo of the whole building!!! It would lose so much of the intricacies of the design! And the sky was spectacular that day so it worked in so many ways!!!
