Hmm, I think I'll pass on the cocktails, thank you! And the snow-diving, too, for that matter!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful (especially in b&w), but I hope spring (the real spring) gets to you soon!
Me too!!! Thanks Prairie Jill!!
DeleteWow! So much snow! Well...Great and beautiful winter photos it is :)
ReplyDeleteWOW, is this now?
ReplyDeleteGreat, put cold serie!
This was yesterday!!! Today...bright blue skies with lot's of the white stuff all around us!!!
DeleteStill snowing?!?!
ReplyDeleteyep!!!
DeleteOMG! Exciting times Chieftess. Barbeque pinching bears! Can't imagine what that would be like to look out and see a black bear in my yard :) Hope the bear whisperer can sort him out. Can't believe the difference in you skies yesterday and these images above.. I didn't realize that dogs enjoyed playing in snow so much, having mostly had cats who definitely wouldn't :)
ReplyDeleteI have one adventurous kitty who has ventured out in the snow...willingly!!!
DeleteWonderful images of snow covered place. Poor dog must be feeling very cold.
ReplyDeleteKelly LOVES the snow!!!
DeleteUnbelievable heaps of snow...Your dog looks as if she is making the best of her limited outdoor space. She's a trooper.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I thought our winter was endless!!
ReplyDeleteThe seasons are all messed up this year.......we got a foot of snow in our mountains the other day.
ReplyDeleteThis actually is normal for up here...Mark Twain mentions snow every month of the year in the Eastern Sierras in his work...Roughing It...
DeletePlease keep your snow! Nice story in the shots. Can I comment? - The mono shots needed about another +1 or +1.5 exposure compensation when you took the shot. The snow has 'fooled' the meter as it tries to expose for 18% grey. The compensation would have made the snow whiter. Thank heavens we have proper spring in the UK.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips John! I took this very late in the afternoon and quickly to capture the dog sitting there...I was not careful about my settings and did quite a bit of post processing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful snow! The best kind of weather possible!
ReplyDeleteKelly's got the right mindset. Snow diving is a whole lot of fun.
WOW... but too much :)
ReplyDeleteThat's SPRING?!!! Beautiful, yes, but shouldn't you have some flowers by now?
ReplyDeleteWe had daffodils on Thursday!!!
DeleteAnd I've been complaining that it is chilly here in Toronto! It looks beautiful but I'm glad I'm not there!
ReplyDeleteToday was clear blue skies and warmer temps...just right to show off the fresh snow!!!
DeletePardon me if I say "YAY!"
ReplyDeleteOur sacrifice is all for you Petrea!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are most grateful.
DeleteLove the photo of the silhouette of the dog looking out at the snow. Each photo is wonderful. Thanks for visiting me. :) You're puppy is so cute....
ReplyDeleteI love winter... in pictures:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series.
May I come for cocktails in August?? So you really had more snow….at least one of you seems to enjoy the spring snow!
ReplyDeletePeople move here for the winters...but as the locals say..."they stay for the summers"!!!
DeleteAugust is a beautiful time of year up here!!!
Oh my goodness. I LOVE THIS! Still adjusting to the fact we didn't have any snow this year :(. You, on the other hand, had plenty :).
ReplyDeleteActually...not really. We should have many more of Friday's storm throughout our winter...then we'd have had enough! It's been a dry winter for us here...
DeleteSomeone does not seem to mind this April storm:-)
ReplyDeleteKelly LOVES the snow!!!
DeleteThanks all!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful series! So much snow in April! At least your dog is happy!
