The fishing is done for the day, and the fishermen have gone on their way...

After Convict Lake...Crowley Lake!!!

Now Crowley reminds me of the lakes I used to waterski on...no waterskiing here though

...at least not on opening day of fishing season!!!

(and not anytime...LOL!)

Lot's of sitting back, taking in the scenery while throwing that line in the water and 

waiting patiently for a bite!!!

Shouldn't there be a flag and water skiier???

but I loved his gear and the interesting "float tube" that he fished from!  

Plenty of People Partaking in a Particularly fun and relaxing sport!

WooHoo!!! My first entry!!!

This is Tim...my official first entry in the Hundred Stranger group on Flickr!!!

I met him during the opening weekend of fishing season at the 

Convict Lake General Store picnic area where he's the barbecue chef.  

He told me that they're going to be open periodically throughout 

the summer...weather permitting...

Here he's whipping up some awesome pulled pork with jalepeno bourbon sauce

but I opted for the bratwurst with grilled onions, red peppers, and whole garlic cloves!

Yummmm!!!!

It was a fun way to start off my afternoon of chasing opening weekend photo shots!!!

Tim was also the resident disc jockey while cooking up a storm!!!
