I may be coming up soon for "research and development" on a current project. The friend I'm staying with told me of a recent fire in Lone Pine that went right up to the backyard of her sister in law. It also took out the most wonderful cabin made by the Rossi clan back in the 20s (her brother in law). I've been and it is a major loss.
Honest Abe...it's about as funky as you can get...a bunch of railroad ties for support, and a couple of planks of plywood for the surface!
Creaky it is VioletSky!!!
Thank you Kaori! I didn't notice the lean of the tree! There was one in the same area that was parallel to the ground!!!
thank you Laurie!!! I started to post this in it's natural colors, then saw your blog post with the iPhone photos and decided to play!!!
I know Hiker...this one had that effect on me too! In it's original color mode, I thought it was more like a watercolor or even an old postcard, which is why I went with the faded photo look!!!

ReplyDeleteWow, what a pretty shot. You do landscapes better than anyone!
ReplyDeleteThis is more like an illustration than a photo. Who doesn't want to sit by that bridge.
