Thank you Kaori! It was shirt sleeve weather (at least for us acclimated locals!!!) though with a definite chill in the shade and when the wind blew!
The mountain will be open for skiing through July 4th...yep Margaret, it's still cold up there!! But in the sun, it's been warming up to the 60's and 70's!!!
Hi Kate!!! It's funny for me, a born and bred SoCal girl, to have snow on the ground in Spring and summer...
Thanks Trish!!!! Yep...all those fishermen (I only saw one woman fishing!) were definitely bundled up to fish!!!
Amazing how it looks so warm and yet there is still so much snow! Love that gorgeous skie, too! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Kaori, I'm thinking it looks darn cold. Pretty, but cold.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how sports we associate with two different seasons, fishing and skiing, come to mind when looking at this photo.
ReplyDeletebeautiful way to see the sky!
ReplyDeleteit also illustrates just how much snow y'all got this year.
have to say, I'm not into fishing when I have to wear protective gear so my tush doesn't freeze off! ;-)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I'm ready to ski those slopes in the background!
ReplyDeleteWell...come on over Al!!! We'll be skiing until July 4th!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have a video of Amy running around in Gull Lake. Love this shot - the sky, the POV and the clusters of guys and their gear.
