It was a Black and White world back then...






This is part of the "stamp" mine in Bodie State Historical Park, California...
If you're ever in this neck of the woods...this is a must see!!!
But don't count on getting back there in the winter...as soon as 
the snow sticks and stays, the road becomes relatively impassable...
You can still visit, but you'd better have some cross country skis or a well 
gassed snowmobile!!!

  4. Trish...impassable as in snow!!! The road is not plowed...and the only way back is by cross country or snow mobile!!!
