We'll Love You Forever, Non-Dog...

Jackie Watson
aka  "Saint Jackie"
aka "Non-Dog"
April 8, 1921 - December 28, 2012

Three days after Christmas, the Watson family lost their
most beloved mom, mom-in-law, grandma, and great-grandma.
She was surrounded by friends and all of her family for several weeks before,
and laughed and partied on Christmas Day with her
3 sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.

Her family and friends will love and miss her for the rest of our lives.

Oh...and by the way, if you're wondering how she got the nickname
You'll have to ask the Newport Watson grandkids because I haven't a clue!!!
But for the past 5 or 6 years, that's been her nom de plume!!!

Great Grandma Jackie and Addison

The first photo is Jackie in her brand new VW convertible...
which she bought 3 years ago at age 88!!!

  1. Oh, I can tell she'll be greatly missed, but what a wonderful way to leave this earth. I remember hearing just a few of your Jackie stories; you'll have to share at least a couple more.

  2. She is greatly missed Hiker! She was a remarkable woman. She had to put up with three rowdy boys and an even more rowdy husband...and she did it all with grace and wit!!! (Hence the Saint Jackie!!!)

  3. She must have been a wonderful woman! She has left behind many wonderful memories!

  4. She looks like she was a ton of fun! What a wonderful tribute - and that last pic is a treasure! I posted one very similar of my Mom and my grandson (her great grandson) just a few days back.
Very sorry for your loss but glad you have great memories!!

  5. She was EG Camera Girl!

Thanks Kerri...She was a very special lady...

  6. So sorry to hear this, Chieftess! It looks like your wonderful memories are already a comfort. Such a lucky family to have her. Saint Jackie - now there's a fabulous title! (...and I can't wait to hear the rest of your stories!)

  7. Three rowdy boys and an even rowdier husband...she earned her title!!! Thanks Adele!!!

  8. Two of my favorite photos of her.

  9. I love that pic of happy her and her hot car.

  10. Me too Petrea!!! She loved that little car!!! And unlike her bigger ones prior to this didn't have a mark on it!!! I believe her youngest Newport grandson is going to get to drive it now...they had a very special relationship!!!
