      I love Monterey!!! It is so beautiful...a bit bohemian...lot's of old Victorian homes...just a charming little beach town!!!

    Like the old timey neon sign! Nope, I've never read Shades of Gray either. Not my thing.

    Quite an eye catching restaurant.

    Seeing as how Shades of Gray started out as a fan fic of that idiot series of vampire novels, and how it's been said to be just awful in writing style, I have no interest in reading it.

      I didn't know that Shades of Grey was triggered by Twilight...another reason for me not to read it...I was curious initially, read the summary on the cover and quickly lost interest. As to style...theres definitely a lack of style in most blockbuster contemporary novels!!!

    Cannery Row? I think Steinbeck would be disappointed today, but your photo still makes me want to visit. Yes, I read 50 Shades of Grey out of curiosity, but it left me no desire to read the sequels.
