"To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind
than to be hopelessly in love with spring."
George Santayana
It snowed again today...for about an hour or so...

Deletelovely corner it is. So bummed we did not make it up there this winter. definitely this summer!
ReplyDeleteIt's not been a particularly robust winter up here...although there's enough snow for skiing...the town, not so much!!! I hope we can connect this summer when you come up!!!
DeleteI must confess I have given up on snow this year here. So I am enjoying seeing yours :). Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteAn interesting quote although I must admit I'm not too keen on the onset of winter.
ReplyDeleteLove that blue.
ReplyDeleteMajestic and beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Kathryn, here in Vermont, we've given up spring for Lent! ;) I think that this saying is so true. It seems like so many are always straining ahead to the next season (me, sometimes, too! ;)) We can easily miss how beautiful it is, now! Even mud season has its charms.... ;)

I must say...growing up in SoCalifornia the term mud season never even crossed my mind!!!
DeleteI am hopeless in love with spring….! Wonderful picture.
ReplyDeleteSo am I!!!
DeleteSnow on the mountains is always a good thing (at least if you're a skier!) Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd especially for water!!!
DeleteWell, we keep getting more snow to replace whatever might melt if the temps go above freezing...
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous shot.
We're just barely starting to bare off.....great shot......moody!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful area! Our maintains have had a tin of snow thus winter but nite in the lower elevations
ReplyDeleteSame here Pat!!!
Deleteflott landskaps bilde !
ReplyDeleteHard to believe this is all the snow you have. Thankfully, ours is disappearing quickly :-)
ReplyDeleteA foot here, a foot there, and in between temps in the 50's and even 60's doesn't lend to too much snow!!! One of the nice things about this is our driveway ice rink has long been melted and it stays dry, even when it snows!!!
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks all!!!
DeleteWow! That is one beautiful scene! Your photo is also a beauty...
