Our Little Corner of the World...

"To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind
than to be hopelessly in love with spring."
George Santayana

It snowed again today...for about an hour or so...

Nope...Spring isn't around the corner just yet...

    1. It's not been a particularly robust winter up here...although there's enough snow for skiing...the town, not so much!!! I hope we can connect this summer when you come up!!!

  4. An interesting quote although I must admit I'm not too keen on the onset of winter.

  5. LOL! Kathryn, here in Vermont, we've given up spring for Lent! ;) I think that this saying is so true. It seems like so many are always straining ahead to the next season (me, sometimes, too! ;)) We can easily miss how beautiful it is, now! Even mud season has its charms.... ;)

  7. Snow on the mountains is always a good thing (at least if you're a skier!) Nice shot.

  8. Well, we keep getting more snow to replace whatever might melt if the temps go above freezing...

    That's a gorgeous shot.

    1. A foot here, a foot there, and in between temps in the 50's and even 60's doesn't lend to too much snow!!! One of the nice things about this is our driveway ice rink has long been melted and it stays dry, even when it snows!!!
