'What if I had never seen this before?
What if I knew I would never see it again?'"

I've been playing with the various macros that I've taken
and exploring black and white...
it seems to add a totally different dimension...
with more focus on light and dark...
What do you think???

More mysterious in black and white.
ReplyDeleteI'm really drawn to the B/W. And to that quote.
ReplyDeletebeautiful composition in both color and monochrome! thanks as always for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots. The black and white does bring out the light more.
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pics!!
ReplyDeleteThanks all!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn to the B&W; although, both are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks LeeAnn!!! One of the reasons I picked this photo to play with in B&W is because while I really liked the composition of the flowers...I thought the color was overwhelming, which actually made it somewhat bland...by converting it to black and white, the light became the primary focal point and the shadows supported and framed the light...I think it gave the pic more depth!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful Kathryn and the wonderful Rachel Carson is a great choice to accompany your photos and thoughts.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! They're both gorgeous!
