"Keep close to Nature's heart...and break clear away, once in awhile,
and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
Wash your spirit clean."
John Muir
Our winter didn't really show up until sometime in February...
Last week it snowed from late Tuesday night through Saturday...
We added a few inches...but then the sun came out on Sunday...
and the snow melt began again...
Breathtaking scenery.
ReplyDelete"Little corner." You are a master of understatement.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim!!!
ReplyDeletePetrea...In comparison to the whole world...it really is a small corner of the world...but such a grand corner it is!!!
John Muir makes more sense every time I read something he wrote.

ReplyDeleteI do love the work of John Muir! The perfect words for a stunning capture! Our weather has been strange this year, but then that seems to be the case all over the country! Hope your week is going well!

We've had two mild winters down at sea level, but up on the mountains there's lots of snow. That is good for summer water though. - Margy
