Every time I go to Mono Lake...I expect to see a character from Star Trek
walking about...
It has that look.

Mono Lake is indeed one of the most strangely beautiful places I've ever seen. There's another spot near Ridgecrest with weird rock formations. We have a lot of these in California, don't we? I guess that's why they shoot the space movies here.
