Weeds are Flowers too...

"Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them."
A.A. Milne

I'm not sure what this brush is...it's native to the area around Mono Lake...
It was a bit windy that day...and rather hard to get it to sit still!!!

For those of you who shoot with a Nikon DSLR...
that I'd like to sell...
This was part of my Christmas gift, but I already have an electronic flash so
I don't need this one...
It sells on Amazon.com for $255...
I'd like to sell mine for $150...
Please shoot me an email if you think you might be interested...

  1. Seems like every time I've been to Mono Lake it's been windy, but then again, it's quite an expanse of land/water. I like the pale prairie-like colors here.

  2. I love the colors in this photo. Stunning!

The close up cherry blossoms in my photo? I'm totally holding the branch still...we've got to find a way to win against the wind! hehe.

  4. Dear Chieftess....

Talk about a muddle! =/ This comment belongs here.... heh, heh - oops! =( =]:

I am just one unorganized gal! ;) I have your blog in my blog roll at the bottom of my blog but I'm just not getting around to visit that way. I'm so sorry! So, that explains why I'm, now, suddenly, a follower. Absolute silliness - that's what it is! =]

and, Happy Easter to you and thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your kind encouragements! I wonder if you realize how much they mean... =]

but, now, I have to toodle off. I wound up staying home from church and from the dinner going on at Grandma's house, next door, because of a sick little guy. But, he just got up - got dressed - announced he was going up to Grandma's and, silly me, I'm sitting here at home alone. ooops! =]

and, you know me....love dem weeds! =] Very pretty and softly neutral image!

    xo

I have a photo of Wayne "in action"

IMHO: keep your 2nd flash and get some radio flash triggers to make a portable 2 flash systems. I purchased some Yonghnuo ones for a very reasonable price. You can never have too many flashes, think of it as a spare in case your main one quits.
