"Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development,
invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears."
Edgar Allen Poe
Tuesday was my day to be at Mono Lake again...
it was a beautiful evening...
warm, clear, thunder storm in the distance,
even a day away from a full moon...
(And this isn't even my number one shot!!!)
Wonderful pink hues and the bird adds a lonely but serene feeling to the photo.ReplyDelete
So Kathy, you're number one shots go on the secret blog??? :-)ReplyDelete
It's a lovely picture.ReplyDelete
I want to hear more about the tours -- who joins up, where they come from. I'm always thrilled to see people from India in my group. They're incredibly gracious and appreciative, interesting, and laugh at my jokes. I guess my least favorite tour had only two people -- a husband and wife from New York who were, he told me somewhere along the way, getting a divorce.
Boy, it sure was a beautiful evening!ReplyDelete
Where's number 1?
Thanks cloudbusting2!!! I was entranced by the colors in the sky reflected in the water as well!!!ReplyDelete
Thanks Wayne...no secret blog...just check back again tomorrow!!!
Thanks Hiker! I've found that Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland are all neck and neck for the most visitors so far for me! I'm not a tour guide at this point...I simply hang out and answer questions, take photos of the groups for them, and photos for me!!! Kelly is a big help...she is quite a draw for conversation!!!
Check back tomorrow Bibi!!!
