Our Little Corner of the World...

I blinked...and the fall colors are on their way out...
Actually...they seem to have popped when I was in Santa Fe...
The colors are fading...the leaves are starting to turn brown...

The colors came early again this year...
And it's supposed to snow again on Wednesday...
Which is probably a good thing...


Our lakes are lower than I've seen them while living here...
LA needs water...
How can I complain?
I was born a Southern California girl...

They say if Chile and New Zealand had good winters before us...
we'll have a good winter too...
They did...will we???

    It always makes me smile when I see 'Our little corner of the world' ... Then there's these HUGE vistas :) so your dams are low also, I can already see our water restrictions are going to be tough this summer.

      Uh oh...Australia's low on water too??? You're pretty close to New Zealand...does that mean they didn't have a good winter???

      I drove around the road accessible lakes Saturday and Sunday and was shocked at how low some of them were...I'm sure they're all the ones that in some way feed LADWP...I don't remember them being this low last year. Hopefully...they'll fill up to the top again this winter!!!
