...just turned white...
We thought this was going to be another light snow...melting by noon...
NOT!!!
In our back forty...it averaged between 6 and 10 inches...
light...fluffy...powder
the kind of snow that's extra fun to run and play in...
Kelly's favorite next door neighbor, Lucy, came up from the OC...
They rather enjoyed the snow today!!!

DeleteOh my, I'm glad the dogs are enjoying it! We are expecting some here in Minnesota this morning, and in my opinion, it's too early. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI agree...too early!!! But I have to admit...there's an electric excitement with the first real snow...no matter when it occurs!!!
DeleteOh - what fun! How lovely.
ReplyDeleteI know Oscar would be right in there with Lucy and Kelly!!!

DeleteTwo very happy dogs!! We finally had a good frost last night/this morning... not sure if we will have a third year of snowtober though.
ReplyDeleteHaha!!! I love the term snowtober!!!
DeleteAnd so it begins for you ... I'm surprised it's cold enough for light and fluffy, sounds like it's time to wax the ski's
ReplyDeleteThe slopes are supposed to open in the next week!!!
DeleteThe snow looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks James!!!
DeleteBest kind of snow, kind you share with your friend.
ReplyDeleteKelly loves the snow...any kind!!! And I suspect it's the same for Lucy!!!
DeleteWow - it seems really early for that much snow! I hope we don't get any until after Christmas here in Toronto. Dogs do love it so much! Love the shots of them playing. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis seems early to me too RedPat!!! Wish it would wait at least til after our Thanksgiving!!!
DeleteThat looks fabulous! I can't wait for some snow.
ReplyDeleteYikes!!! I can't wait for spring!!!
DeleteI like snow, just not that much of it at once. We get snow maybe two times a year and it usually melts in a few days unless it is followed by a cold snap. - Margy
ReplyDeleteI think I'd enjoy that kind of snow!!! This is just the beginning for us...but I guess that's what I should expect living in a ski resort and all!!!
DeleteThat is my kind of weather! The dogs look deliriously happy!
