The Final Frontier...

South Tufa's, Mono Lake, California

"Space, the final frontier.  These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.
Her five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life
and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before."
Star Trek opening monologue

Every time I go to Mono Lake...I expect to see a character from Star Trek
walking about...

  2. Mono Lake is indeed one of the most strangely beautiful places I've ever seen. There's another spot near Ridgecrest with weird rock formations. We have a lot of these in California, don't we? I guess that's why they shoot the space movies here.
