my goodness, you must live in a really OLD town.ROG, ABC Wednesday team
but, of course!I like his shiny tusks.
oh.«Louis» thought for a moment you were referring to his former father-in-law...
Ancient... Rog!!!Thanks VioletSky!!!Ohhhh Louis!!!!
how long have you really been around ? hehehehe
Oh what a wonderful find
Ahh Jo...the question is not how long I've been around...but how long has our woolly mammoth graced the slopes of Mammoth Mountain???!!!!Thanks Daryl!!!
I'm not trying to sound stupid (I just can't help it), but is that really how Mammoth got its name?
Well Hiker...that is the big question!!! I tried to research that last night when I was getting the post ready and couldn't find a thing...what has been mentioned before is that the skyline looks a bit like the back of a woolly mammoth...and then there's Mammoth Rock... honestly...I don't see the resemblance so I can't confirm it at all!!!Thank you Justine!!!
Great post for "M" ... a wonderful sculpture.
I love it!
Thanks Kate and Liz!!!
Great photo. I love the color of the sky.
Thank you Meryl!!! That's what's nice about living in Mammoth..it may snow and storm, but when it clears up, the sky is crystal clear blue!!!
I like how his tusks are made of steel
I think it's all one material PA...just finished differently! It's quite massive...and very well done!
