Brilliant Forest...

"A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least,
but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart."

  1. Nice autumn sky capture! Happy skywatching!

  2. I envy the greens left by fir trees when they constrast with the gold and reds.......they just don't grow here naturally to make the kind of canvas's you have.

  3. Oh woman! I really, really Like this SWF shot!!
And, believe it or not, I think it might be possible for me to reproduce a something similar in Pasadena.

  4. The contrasting colors of the trees are amazing! Such a stunning shot, I love it! Happy weekend :D

  5. Stunning! The colors of the trees and the sky are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

  6. Thanks Jeannelle!!!

I love the contrast of the greens with the golds and reds too Linda!!! I'm surprised you don't have similar scenes in Alberta...

    Thanks Cafe and Kaori!!!

Thanks Emily and welcome!!! You've probably got a lot of similar countryside in the Pacific Northwest!

Thank you Mary!!! My sister used to live in Louisville, Kentucky...there was some fall color there too!!!

  7. The contrast between green and gold gives me a frisson of joy!

Through the dazzling bright blue sky
    Pigeons swim and goldfish fly.
If you think that this is strange,
You should see the mountains range!
