The air around here is almost back to normal...
the fire is basically contained...
life is getting back to normal...
breathing is easier...
but the coughs linger.

Beautiful scene. So glad the fires are under control. Such a beautiful place that shouldn't be lost in a haze.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to get back to clear skies and see all this grandeur. I sympathise with your cough - we experienced forest fires on holiday in BC, Canada. That orange haze, smoke penetrating indoors...
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the fire is under control. What majestic scenery!
ReplyDeleteStunning!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing about coughs, they're always the last thing to go :) your corner of the world is rather fabulous Chieftess.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are breathing easier. About 10 years ago we were travelling and ran into fires at Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Saw the Tetons only through a haze and hiking was very difficult. Used my inhaler a lot on that trip.
ReplyDeleteAmazing landscape.
ReplyDeletePeaceful....
ReplyDeleteWow! How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSigh, what a beautiful view, glad to hear things are clearing up.
ReplyDeleteThanks LOL!!! It's really nice to breathe relatively fresh air again!!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Linda!!! The smoke was so thick some days that standing in the spot where I took this picture, we literally could not see the mountains in the photo.
Thanks LadyFi!!!
