No...this has nothing to do with the forest fire on the other side of the mountains...
I actually took this pic in June...
The fire does seem to be winding down...
and the skies are turning blue again, even though they're still hazy.

Definitely a downside to living in California...we used to deal with fires every summer in SoCal...now that we're in the mountains...it's different, but still a bit scary!

Actually OaklandDP...not much in the way of pollution up here when this was taken...and the haze from the fire hasn't produced a single great sunset!!!
