Great silhouette. Love the quote. After a long hike up a mountain, I remember sitting at the top and the only sound I could hear was a soft wind. It was quite an experience.
I've always lived surrounded by trees...and have always enjoyed listening to them whisper in a breeze!!! Thanks Bayside!!!
Yes Woody...I took this just the other day!!! The skies have been clear again for a week or two...at least relatively. Although now we are again faced with a raging forest fire on the other side of our range, threatening Yosemite. So far, we haven't had the smoke from this fire although I've heard the wind may be changing this weekend.
They do indeed speak, and they all have different voices. A very Scottish voice is the sound of birch leaves in the wind. I wonder if it's similar to aspens?
How beautiful! I like the trees silhouetted against the sky!
