Have you ever seen...

...a waterfall made of ice?

This beautiful icefall is off the road in Yosemite on the way to the valley floor
from Tioga Pass.

Yes, I have seen an icefall--happens in Yosemite and various other locations when it is chilly! Pretty amazing in the picture, really amazing to see in person!

  2. It looked like a regular waterfall for a second! I love how it's frozen like the water is still flowing. Gorgeous! :D

  3. Once, when I was a child I saw our brook's little waterfall frozen solid. And the water was clear all the way through, since it was just a small, not so turbulent waterfall.

  7. Frozen solid PA!!! As far as I could tell, there wasn't a drop of liquid water...other than any melting on the surface!!!
