  8. We certainly have Louis!!!

I can imagine Caroline! And welcome!!! Glad you came by to visit and comment!!!

Surprisingly for me..it's not that uncommon here either Steffe!!!

Here too Roger, if it wasn't off the road...if it's off the road and not in the way of the plows, they can be buried..the snow plows have been known to bury or crunch a few cars that were on the road (past the markers), even a little bit!!!

    Thanks LadyFi!!!

Not a lot Kaori, but often enough!

It's melting fast Gattina!!! Welcome! And thanks for stopping by to visit!

  10. I would presume it is harder to tow a vehicle buried this far in the snow, than to figure out how to crunch it or go around, unless it really is in the middle of the road. May as well let the snow melt THEN figure out how to tow it---since, if it has been buried since Dec, I'd assume it may not start by now!

This does remind me of a week we spent in Tahoe years ago. Thank G-d we had a key fob for the car---it was the ONLY way I knew which lump of snow was the one I needed to dig out!

wv: tootbus...m not touching that one!

  11. Actually Trish...I have it on good authority that this car has not moved in 5 years...

  16. Ouch! In the path of the snow plow? I do not know much of these things (thankfully!) but I know lots about mosquitoes in the summer... Every location has its little ups and downs and the snow is just so beautiful!

  18. Amazing how much snow we had, and how careful we have to be when parking before a storm...

  19. Absolutely Meryl!!! The car that got hit was only inches beyond the snow markers...

  22. I dunno Linda! It's pretty much a toss up...we may have more snow, but also more snow plows than I think you've got where you are!!! Being in a ski resort town has it's advantages...they keep the roads pretty clear...even if they have to plow your car to do it!!! (They really do try to avoid mishaps, but some people just don't get the concept!!!)
