  1. Should I watch for you or a bear on Thursday?? I'll mark it on my calendar. This is a highly polished wood carving.

  3. I hope I don't forget to watch. This bear looks so friendly, I'm sure he's never busted up in someone's home foraging for cold pizza and Twinkies.

  4. Hi Kate! Watch for bears...our Bear Whisperer (a local guy who contracts with the city to "re-educate the bears) and The Chief (my hubby!) The series is actually about Steve...the Bear Whisperer who works with the bears to keep them safe and the townspeople safe...it's actually quite interesting...

He's not Smokey Kaori...just happy that spring is here and he can come out from his den and forage for food!!!

Ha!!! Virginia, you must've seen the Bear Whisperer before!!! That's his job...to keep the bears from breaking into homes and businesses looking for food...and I do believe that Twinkies and cold pizza is a bad bear delicacy!!!
